Camie's Hope Grant: Grants to Adoptive Families and Organizations
This project has been named after the wonderful and dynamic Camie Schuiteman, who was motivated by faith, and with creativity and hard work raised the funds to adopt her two youngest children. The Fatherless Foundation administers a grant program to help cover the costs of adoption. Please review the grant application and grant guidelines, as they are subject to change.
Journey of Hope: Orphan Hosting Program
Indiana families host orphans from orphanages from Ukraine and Nicaragua. Children usually come to Indiana in groups of 10-12 for 4-6 weeks. Children spend time with host families, most of which are planning to adopt from that country.
Student Hope Project:
The Fatherless Foundation has parnered with Kristin Camp of the Ukrainian Student Hope Project to assist orphans in obtaining student visas to allow them to study in the United States.
Journey of Light: Orphan Service or Vision Trips
Orphan Service/Vision Trips focus on building long-term relationships between volunteer groups and orphanages. These trips focus more on projects and work/maintenance that is needed in order to improve the environment in which the orphans live. Groups of up to 12 volunteers travel to orphanges abroad to bring supplies and participate in activities with the children. These trips help increase support and interest in the orphan crisis as well as international adoption.
Local Outreach Project:
We are developing a project to assist local foster children who are in need. This project will help provide these children with basic needs such as backpacks or other school-related items in order to achieve.
The Pebble Project:
This project is focused on building an orphange in Congo. Funding will be needed for the structure, furniture, computers, staff, etc. As part of our commitment to the orphans in the Congo, we have started a feeding program to help nourish children back to health. Please contact us if you are interesting in sponsoring a child for the feeding program.
